Your driver will pick you up early from your Marrakech accommodation or the airport. Begin your journey by winding through the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass , with stops for panoramic photos.

We first visit Telouet Kasbah, a former Glaoui palace tucked away in the Ounila Valley. Then, continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

By afternoon, we reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Dinner and overnight stay in a local hotel.

After breakfast, visit Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah (Pictures from the outside)  , two icons of Ouarzazate’s history and cinema fame.

Next, travel through the palm groves of Skoura to explore Amridil Kasbah, one of Morocco’s best-preserved fortresses. Continue to Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for its Rose Valley and fragrant rose products.

We then head into the dramatic Dades Valley, stopping at viewpoints like the “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and the winding Tissadrine road. Dinner and overnight stay in a Dades Valley hotel.

Day 3:Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

Today’s route takes us through Todra Gorges, where sheer cliffs rise 300 meters above the crystal-clear river. Enjoy a short walk to admire the towering canyon walls.

We pass through Touroug and Tinjdad oases before reaching Erfoud, known for fossilized marble workshops. By late afternoon, we arrive at Merzouga, where your camel awaits to take you across the rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Pause at the top of a high dune to watch a breathtaking Sahara sunset, then continue to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy Berber drumming, stargazing, and dinner around the campfire. Overnight in a private tent.

Day 4: Merzouga Exploration – Nomads – Khamlia – Flamingo Lake

Wake up early for an unforgettable desert sunrise. After breakfast, ride camels or take a 4×4 back to Merzouga village.

Spend the day exploring the Sahara’s hidden gems:

  • Visit nomadic families and share a traditional cup of tea.

  • Stop in Khamlia village to enjoy the soulful rhythms of Gnawa music.

  • Walk through a palm grove and visit Dayet Srji (Flamingo Lake) when in season.

Dinner and overnight stay in a Merzouga hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we set off toward Fes with several fascinating stops along the way. Explore the bustling Rissani market (on market days), then continue along the Ziz Valley, pausing for a scenic overlook.

After lunch in Midelt, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou Cedar Forest, home to the playful Barbary macaques. You can take photos and feed them if you wish.

Before reaching Fes, we stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and cool climate. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport in Fes.
